Community Support Through Collective Action
September was a month of continued community engagement for Snehdhara Charity Council. During the month, our focus remained on two simple but important areas of support helping people with food and encouraging the community to come together through our collection efforts.
August was a month filled with meaningful community initiatives at Snehdhara Charity Council. Our team continued to work closely with communities and focused on some of the everyday needs that can make a real difference in people's lives. During the month, our efforts included food distribution, a collection drive, sanitary pad distribution, baby kit distribution, and cloth distribution. Each initiative was carried out with the support of our volunteers, donors, and community members.
Independence Day is a reminder of the values of freedom, unity, responsibility, and the importance of building a better future together. This year, Snehdhara Charity Council celebrated Independence Day by bringing the spirit of the occasion closer to the communities and children we work with. The celebration began with an Independence Day programme in the society, where our team came together with residents and community members to mark the occasion. The national flag was hoisted with pride, followed by a gathering that reflected the spirit of unity and patriotism.
July was a month of meaningful community engagement at Snehdhara Charity Council. Along with continuing our efforts to support people with their basic needs, we also took steps towards creating greener and healthier surroundings. Throughout the month, our team worked closely with communities through food distribution, a collection drive, and a tree plantation initiative. Each activity addressed a different need, but all were guided by the same purpose to contribute in practical ways and create a positive impact around us.
During June, Snehdhara Charity Council continued its efforts to support people and families through regular community initiatives. The month focused on three important areas of our work providing food, supporting elderly and dependent individuals, and collecting essential items for those in need.
Mother’s Day is a special occasion to recognise the love, care, patience, and countless sacrifices that mothers make for their children. This year, Snehdhara Charity Council celebrated the occasion with children at a school through a simple yet meaningful activity focused on helping them express their feelings for their mothers. As part of the celebration, our team visited the school and spent time with the children, introducing them to the importance of appreciating and expressing gratitude towards their mothers. Instead of simply talking about Mother’s Day, we encouraged the children to express their emotions through drawing, writing, and small acts of love.
May was a month of active community engagement for Snehdhara Charity Council. During the month, our team carried out several initiatives focused on food support, essential care, maternal and newborn support, elderly care, and menstrual hygiene.
During April, Snehdhara Charity Council continued its efforts to support people and communities through practical and meaningful initiatives. Our focus remained on meeting basic needs, caring for vulnerable individuals, and contributing to a healthier environment
